Quod me nutrit me destruit

My life is full of drama and conflict. I have dreams that I know will never materialize because
my life is now about the three children I brought into the world. My world should revolve around their needs, but I
do not want to ignore my needs in the process.
I deal with the same issues most women face every day. I have struggled while balancing family life and a
career. Religion and politics are important to me, but I stay away because of the prevalence of greed and hypocricy
in both areas. Maybe this is just a phase that thirtysomethings go through, but while I'm living out this phase,
I intend to learn something from it.

This is the place where I know I'm safe and away from
most of what hurts me. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be than at home with my husband, watching our
kids grow.
